Settlement Details

This class action alleged that Tinder engaged in age-based pricing discrimination by charging subscribers over the age of 29 significantly more for Tinder Plus and Tinder Gold subscriptions than younger users. A California appeals court ruled this pricing violated the state's Unruh Civil Rights Act.

Eligible claimants can receive cash payments based on the amount they overpaid relative to the under-30 pricing tier.
