Settlement Details

Toyota owners reported that certain 2AZ-FE 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engines consumed oil at an abnormally high rate, sometimes burning through a quart of oil every 1,000 miles or less. This defect could lead to engine failure, stalling, and safety hazards.
